'Maang-Tika' means not for brides alone! This is an ornament which is not worn by women regularly but especially in Marraige Ceremony Bengali bride uses it.  This is a reason why most of the bridal hair styles bear centre parting. This is done in order to accommodate the maangtika. It usually consists of a string a with a centre piece attached to one end. In varied cultures, the form of the maangtika varies.
Maang Tikka can be said to be a shortened version of the shringaar patti. It comprises of a string, with a center piece attached to one end and a hook to the other. This ornament is used in forehead on the central partition of the hair which is normally used for Sindur. Our each product is completely handmade and therefore as unique as the woman who wears it!
